Loved my spacious room next to the beautiful garden, but the pillows were awful.

My best decision yet!

An unforgettable getaway with only six rooms that ensures privacy! Our dining experience was exceptional, featuring seasonal snow crab and Noto beef. The breakfast on New Year's Day was complemented by a delightful mochi-making ceremony with attentive staff. It truly felt like a luxurious retreat amidst serene gardens.

My stay at Kinjohro was sheer bliss. The room was spacious and comfortably adorned with traditional decor, offering beautiful views of the serene garden. The service was outstanding as the staff was quick to assist and made me feel warmly welcomed. The kaiseki dinner was artfully presented with fresh, seasonal ingredients, making it a true culinary delight.

This place was truly a relaxing escape with an amazing kaiseki dinner set in a private room overlooking the beautiful garden. I loved spending time in the serene koi pond and enjoying some quiet moments in the lovely outdoor rock garden. The only hiccup was trying to figure out how to operate the fancy bathroom system, but it didn't ruin my stay at all! 😊

i was really looking forward to my stay, only to discover they didn’t provide traditional sleepers, leaving my feet freezing! and oh, the pillows were like rocks, incredibly disappointing. still, no one bothered to offer any sort of complimentary gesture as they clearly knew about these inadequacies. i almost thought to give them a good review, but just couldn’t.

Make sure to try the traditional kaiseki meal, as it's a unique cultural experience that reflects Japanese dining customs, despite being a bit bland for Western tastes.

Our stay in the spacious Japanese-Style Superior Room felt fantastic, especially wearing yukatas and enjoying our kaiseki meals. The private garden was perfect for relaxing with the kids and pets. Dining in a different room each night showcased the hotel's stunning rooms and grounds!

For dads, it would be great if there were more activities for kids.

Charming atmosphere, attentive staff, the staff is committed to providing excellent hospitality, while the Japanese-Style Deluxe Room with Tatami Area was spacious and comfortable, featuring a lovely garden view that enhanced our stay.

The staff were absolutely delightful, going out of their way to please. The food was interesting and delicious, giving us both Western and Japanese options. The location was perfect, central to all the historic spots.

Had a fantastic stay with my friends! The traditional vibes were perfect and really added to our experience visiting the koi pond and the nearby gardens. The spacious room was a delight, and the helpful staff made it even better. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a serene getaway!

However, we did encounter a noise issue with the air conditioning unit, which was a bit unsettling. It forced us to change rooms, which disrupted our peace a bit.
